Challenge

How to connect international people of Tampere with jobs?

This sprint is inspired by principles and processes of Design Thinking. It helps approach complex problems, innovate collaboratively, and create holistic, sustainable solutions with a human-centered focus.

In this intensive two-day workshop you will get coached by passionate service design experts from the industry and public sector and prototype user-centered solutions.

And then

In the end of sprint you will present service prototypes to Tampere Region Economic Development Agency Tredea. They are looking for fresh ideas to be implemented within Talent Tampere network to further facilitate the integration of internationals to the Finnish business life to boost companies’ growth and internationalization.

Application period extended until 23:59 on August, 15.

The event is free and organizers will provide breakfast and lunch during both days.

The event is organized by Tribe Tampere that unites different actors of Tampere startup ecosystem around topic of entrepreneurship. It includes but not limited to Tampere Startup Hub, Proakatemia, Tampere ES, JCI United, Demola, Creativity Squads, Y-kampus and Twinkle network.

We are opening three floor community space at Pinninkatu 47 in August. This service design sprint will be one of the first events to kick off the space and pioneer new ways of co-creation.

Veikko Törrönen

Veikko is a startup entrepreneur and business designer at KREAPAL, service design and customer experience studio in Tampere

Outi Nokkonen

Outi works for the city of Tampere as 6Aika Project Coordinator. She is using service design and co-creation methods to develop city services in co-operation with citizens, companies and NGOs.

Suvi Helén

As Director of Insights at Idean, Suvi combines hand-on research with design, creates meanings to insights in forms of design and strategy, and leads others to do that.

Tanja "Tirri" Verho

Tirri is a team coach and service designer, who loves to create bridges between people. Practical and functional services and solutions needs empathy to understand how people act, feel and adapt changes.
